Les Grande Opening....

Excited and nervous the opening day has arrived at last! My first customer arrived as soon as the door opened and from then on until midday it was a steady stream of customers coming in to see what the new shop had to offer. Many of my previous customers came in over the course of the day and it was nice to see you all and to catch up on what's happening in your world of crafting. Thank you for your support in making my first day memorable.

There will be tutorials coming soon, not all from me but also from well known crafters such as Tim Holtz for those of you who like distress techniques.

Thank you again and I look forward to seeing you all in the near future. Happy crafting!

Et Voila...

Literally! The shelves are bursting with rainbow coloured ribbons, sweetie jars of bubblegum buttons, enough flowers to decorate the Arc de Triomphe and everything a crafter could hope to find all under one very pretty roof.

In true 'Bafta' style I just want to say a VERY BIG thank you to everybody who has given up their time, blood, sweat and tears to help me turn my dream into a reality. I couldn't have done it without you!

We are opening the doors at 9am this Saturday... so come down... bring your creative friends... and let your imagination run away with you. We can't wait to see you.

Love Ange x

Finishing Touches...

My sign went up today! Hooray. Everything is finally coming together. It's been four weeks of sanding, painting, re-wiring and stock taking. There were inevitably a few minor 'bumps' in the road... trying to explain my logo designs in French and turning off the water supply to the whole building (thank goodness for our very understanding landlord!) But I am finally ready to open the doors to Et Voila on Saturday 12th March!

I hope to see you there... happy and scrappy x
