Well my bloggers it's been a while. Although I no longer have the shop I do miss not keeping my blog going so I have decided to do just that to show any cards that I've made, Ideas I get, demos I find, and anything else that might be of interest to you all.

Heres something that I made a while ago for those who didn't get the chance to see it. I will try to explain how - if I can remember!

I used a 20cm square card and cut a setion of paper 19.5cm square from My Minds Eye 12cm x12cm sheet that already had the blue glitter pattern (cheating I know!!) but these papers are so beautiful. I then used my scissors to distress the edges and inked them with Tim Holtz Walnut Distress Ink. I also distressed the edges of the front of my card with the same ink. I then stuck the paper to my card using double sided tape.

Next I cut a piece of Spellbinders Foil (the size depends on what stamp you decide to use) here I used Indigoblu's Elizabeth Bennet and using Stazon Black Ink because the foil is a non porous surface. I then embossed using my bigshot around the edges of the foil by just putting the tip of each edge in an embossing folder and running it through the machine just enough to catch the edge.

cut a piece of paper (the reverse side of my main backing paper) and this was the same size as my piece of foil. I distressed the edges with scissors and inked with Walnut Distress Ink. I stuck this at an angle on my base paper using double sided tape and then stuck my foiled lady on the opposite angle.

Using the stamp set Live Laugh Love from Indigoblu I stamped a couple of the flowers and the leaves and painted them using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for the flowers and Brushed Corduroy for the leaves (using a brush and some water to dilute). I then cut these out and curled the edges over slightly to look more realistic.

I stamped a greeting on a piece of white card and cut out a tag shape and distressed the edges with Walnut Distress Ink and attached a piece of string and fixed at an angle to the foil picture using foam and then placed the flowers around the top.       Et Voila !
