'Oodles of Hearts' Garland - Tutorial
This fabulous Heart Garland is the ingenious concept by Onto Baby.
1. For each heart, cut seven strips from thick paper or card stock in the following lengths: 2 * 6.5 inches, 2 * 5.25 inches, 2 * 4.5 inches and 1 * 2 inches. Layer one of each of the three lengths together (the longer length on the outside) and staple the pieces together at the bottom so that the two shorter pieces are facing each other in the middle of the bundle.
2. Then form a heart shape, combining identical strips together, place the 2 inch strip f paper on the middle and staple at the inner point.
3. Once you have enough hearts to form the length of garland you require, punch a hole in the top of the 2 inch strip of paper.
4. String the hearts together, through the punched holes, with thick string or ribbon and make a loop at both ends. Hang using hook nails.
Et Voila!

Les Grande Opening....

Excited and nervous the opening day has arrived at last! My first customer arrived as soon as the door opened and from then on until midday it was a steady stream of customers coming in to see what the new shop had to offer. Many of my previous customers came in over the course of the day and it was nice to see you all and to catch up on what's happening in your world of crafting. Thank you for your support in making my first day memorable.
There will be tutorials coming soon, not all from me but also from well known crafters such as Tim Holtz for those of you who like distress techniques.
Thank you again and I look forward to seeing you all in the near future. Happy crafting!
