Scraps

If your scrap paper draw is anything like mine, it will be driving you crazy, overspilling everytime you open it and you keep vowing to do something constructive with it all, god forbid you throw any away. So, here are a few ideas for using up those scraps. Have fun, it's amazing what colour combinations you can put together.

Keep it Simple

Why spend hours agonising over what paper, what embellishements and where do I put it all. Keep it simple, it's just as effective. Try these for simplicity.

Mothers Day Event

If you would like to make your own Mothers Day card or a special birthday card then this is the event for you. Don't worry if you have never tried to make your own before, or if you think you are not very artistic, I will show you how.

Try this quick Valentines Card

If you like to keep up the tradition why not try this, it's simple. All you need is a fairly plain paper for the background, different shades of red & pink scrap card for the hearts, any text stamp and a postal stamp, a heart punch (or use your own cut out template) and a piece of garden string with a tag or pendant to hang. By the way, the 'Be mine' text and rose is not part of the card!

Valentines Day 14th Feb

Ladies Afternoon at The Living Room

 Hi all,

I am pleased to announce that I will participating in the Ladies Afternoon, an afternoon of demonstrations and chat, being held at The Living Room in St Cyr on Thursday 17th November at 14h30.

It is a chance for ladies to get together for a little 'tête à tête' whilst enjoying a refreshing pot of tea with cakes or a well deserved glass of bubbly... go on... spoil yourself.

Entry is free and there is a fun tombola with prizes donated from all the local artisans, so please feel free to bring along a friend or two for an afternoon or fun, creativity and chatter.

Christmas Is Upon Us!

With just over two months to go (yes just 68 days away), I know that like me, you will all be planning your Christmas card designs and projects already!
